Harborview and Pole is an exhibition space inspired by the maritime culture of the Los Angeles harbor region where we are based.  Flags flown at Harborview and Pole are created by select contemporary artists and exist in direct conversation with the decorative, symbolic, and signal flags seen in the area.  At Harborview and Pole the definition of a flag simply means a work that is able to be flown from a pole and, in this case, exposed to the elements.  Currently flags can be viewed at harborviewandpole.org or by appointment.  Flags flown at Harborview and Pole are added to the Harborview and Pole Flag Archive.
